FAQs

What is a treatment session like?

Each treatment appointment takes less than 15 minutes. The provider confirms the location for therapy, applies gel so that the treatment applies smoothly. Then the applicator is gently pressed on the treatment area.

How many treatments will I need?

The number of treatments varies depending on your issue and how your body responds to the treatment. Typically, patients need 2-5 treatments for optimal results. However, most patients experience some pain relief immediately after their first treatment.

Are there any restrictions after the treatment?

It is recommended that patients rest from physical activity (particularly one that would involve the treated region) for about 48 hours following a treatment session.

Does the treatment hurt?

Some patients experience some discomfort based on the current amount of pain they are already experiencing. However, since the treatment lasts only minutes, most find they can tolerate the discomfort easily. Your provider is also able to adjust the level of intensity if you are feeling too uncomfortable.
